Former Ghana defender, Samuel Osei Kuffour is optimistic Black Stars will triumph over the Selecão of Portugal at the World Cup.
The Black Stars are in the same group with Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay at the mundial.
Ghana will face Portugal on Thursday, 24th November in their opening game in Qatar.
Ghana arrived in Qatar last Friday, after defeating Switzerland by 2:0 in an international friendly in Abu Dhabi.
Samuel Osei Kuffour is part of the Black Stars management committee overseeing the activities of the Black Stars.
Sammy Kuffour, who played for Ghana at the 2006 World Cup, is hopeful the Black Stars will defeat Portugal in the cagey encounter.
"The Black Stars need to control the game and play to our best," he said.
“They should not think about the best players Portugal have. If we focus on one player, they will surprise us.
“They must play collectively as a unit. I know things have changed at the training and I am confident the team will triumph against Portugal," he concluded.
