Head coach of Ghana third-tier club Sasaamo Panin FC, Mustapha Zakari Balewa, says he is keen on qualifying the team to the Division One League (DOL) next season.

Balewa, took over the Offinso-based side at the begining of the season and has qualified them to the Middle-League play-off after an impressive impact.

Following a difficult first round which saw his side suffered three defeats in seven games.

The former King Faisal gaffer put up an impressive performance in the second round going unbeaten to secure a place in the middle League.

Despite achieving his primary target, the former New Edubiase coach is excpecting his charges to go for nothing but the ultimate.

Speaking to Kickgh.com in an interview ahead of the Middle League, Balewa attributed his team ressurgence to his philosophy, style and development.

Balewa disclosed his team is aware of the task ahead and have been working assiduously to achieve the target.

“We’re poised to play in the DOL next season. Managerially, we have the support on and off the field. We are focused, and we need to keep the pace and our momentum and take it game after game. ,” he said.

"The target is to qualify the club and we know it requires collective effort and hard work to meet our goal; so we go into every game with the winning approach which will be replicated in our subsequent games.”

Sasaamo Panin have been handed a tough draw after been paired with Fast Track FC, Galaxy FC and favorite Benab group A.

But Mustapha Balewa is confident his charges has what it takes to overcome the big guns.

"I have full faith in my players. We are ready to challenge every club. We have a plan and we will execute it very well." He added..

Balewa guided Edubiase to their first-ever promotion to the Ghana Premier League in 2009.

The CAF License B holder has previously managed King Faisal, Cornerstones and was the assistant of New Edubiase head coach Anthony Commey during the 2016 season in which the club was relegated to the Division One league.
