Day two of the 2023/24 Ashanti Regional Inter-Schools and Colleges boys soccer competition continued today with most of the favourites cruising to the next round.
After finishing as the third best team in the last edition, OLAG set off with another perfect start after defeating Tepa SHS with a 2-1 win in the opening fixture of the day.
Four-time champions Kumasi Anglican SHS narrowly edged Apagya SHS whiles Osei Tutu SHS also marmalized Aduman SHS to cruise into the next round.
Adu Gyamfi, Opoku Ware School, all recorded victories whiles Islamic SHS shockingly got evicted in the first after a 2-0 defeat to St Michael's SHS.
Losing finalists Osei Kyeretwie SHS were given a very difficult game but managed to beat St Hubert by 3-2 in a thrilling encounter to advance to the next round.
