Kasim Nuhu Adams has been selected as a replacement for Alexander Djiku in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar this month.
With an impressive performance throughout the recently concluded season, the FC Basel defender brings valuable experience to the Ghanaian team, having already appeared in 11 matches for his country since his debut on November 12, 2017.
The 27-year-old will step in to fill the gap left by Alexander Djiku, who sustained an ankle injury during a French Ligue 1 match against Troyes on Sunday, May 21, 2023, while representing RC Strasbourg.
To prepare for the crucial qualifier scheduled for Sunday, July 18, 2023, in Antananarivo, the Black Stars will commence their training camp in Accra on Monday, June 12.
