Black Queens coach, Nora Hauptle has stated preparations has been fantastic and can assure Ghanaians of nothing but a win this afternoon when they face Benin in the first leg of the second qualifying round of the 2024 Olympic Games.
Ghana in the first round of qualifiers recorded a 7-0 win over Guinea to cruise into this stage; having won the first leg 3-0 in Conakry before winning 4-0 in Accra.
Both countries last face off was in February this year in a friendly where the Queens won 3-0 in Cotonou and definitely they will pick some clues from that clash coming into this game.
Speaking in an interview, the Swiss gaffer, who has all matches since taking over, believes her perfect record will be preserved as she is very optimistic of nothing but a win.
"We know Benin already from the test game in February. We have properly analyse them. We know about transitions. They also have international prayers from France,” Nora said at a press conference.
“We are aware of the strengths. I am pretty convinced we will make a good game here; a good performance.”
The game is scheduled for 16:00GMT (4:00pm) this mid-afternoon at the Friendship Stadium.
