Giant broadcasters SuperSport will telecast live the 2024 President Cup between Asante Kotoko and Ivorian heavyweights ASEC Mimosas coming up next week.
The President Cup is a football that is played annually to honour every sitting President of Ghana and will be part of the the activities to celebrate the country's remarkable 67th Independence anniversary.
The President Cup since it inception, has always been contested between two Ghanaian clubs to honour every sitting first gentleman of the land and has been held for almost two decades now.
However, there were instances were clubs from other African countries were handed the opportunity to feature in this cup game, notably DR Congo giants TP Mazembe, and this year's edition is taking that path.
The game will be graced by His Excellency Nana Akuffo Addo, and President of Cote D'Ivoire, Alassane Ouattara- with both Heads of States to watch the game together from the official box.

The Porcupine Warriors have eight successes in the President Cup and will hope to clinch it for the ninth time this year with their last win happening in 2019.
The game is slated for March 5, 2024, at the Baba Yara Stadium, just a day prior, to the big celebration.
