The Black Queens of Ghana humiliated the She Amavubi of Rwanda by 5-0, to record a (7-0) on aggregate win at the Ohene Gyan Stadium.

The Queens started well and were on top of the game in terms of everything, having dictated the pattern of the game.

 

It took Ghana 22 minutes to get the opener, kind courtesy Alice Kusi controlled a pass from Stella Nyamekye, turned well and struck from distance to get the lead.

 

Again, Alice Kusi scored again few minutes later, having picked Princella Adubea with a sumptuous half-volley pass on the right and followed to head into the net to double the lead.

 

Alice Kusi completed her hattrick on the 37th minute with a sumptuous goal, that was after Evelyn Badu had held play very well to set her up just at the edge of the box. 

 

With just three minutes to half time, Evelyn Badu finally registered her name on the scoresheet after rounding the Rwanda goalie to plot into the net. It finished 4-0 at half time. 

 

In the second half, the Black Queens came from the break with on a good note and kept on being the dominant side like they have been from the start.

 

Coach Nora Hauptle made some introductions in the second half, handing players like Vivian Konadu, Grace Acheampong, Janet Egyir, Gifty Assifuah all minutes in the game.

 

Stella Nyamekye made a very good use of her inclusion in the line up today with a super performance and sealed the win with a goal to make it 5-0 and that's how it stayed until full time.
