Black Queens gaffer, Nora Hauptle has stated her girls are fully poised and ready for the clash with Rwanda this afternoon in the return leg of the 2024 WAFCON qualifiers.
The Queens in the first leg last week, annihilated the She Amavubi by an emphatic 0-7 at the Kigali Pele Stadium and will look to continue with the same momentum in today's game.
Evelyn Badu and Anastasia Achiaa all had a brace in the game, coupled with a goal each from Alice Kusi, Priscilla Adubea and Serbian-based forward Doris Boaduwaa to seal the big victory.
Nora Hauptle since assuming the Black Queens head coach role, has been very impressive, having won all six matches played so far with 21 goals scored and haven't conceded any within the period.
Speaking in a pre-match interview, the Swiss tactician has expressed their readiness ahead of the game and hopes to win the tie in a stunning fashion.
"I can say the secret behind the gradual improvement of the team is putting in lot of work but I need to congratulate the players for taking the right decisions on the pitch’’ she said.
“I have a great staff with professional analysis of the game with individual talks as well. We are proud that we scored so many goals and even more proud to have clean sheets. Our game plan worked and the players transmitted it very well."
“We have a plan which we slightly adapt and off course we also position players well to function well in our games.”
“All 23 players are fit and ready to perform tomorrow. Players will know who will start tomorrow in our pre-match meeting. A bit of impressions from the last training will also count."
The game is slated for 16:00GMT (4:00pm) at the Ohene Gyan Stadium this mid-afternoon.
