Black Stars winger, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku spoke to the media after the team's first training session at the Ohene Gyan Stadium yesterday and is very optimistic of victories as they prepare to begin their 2025 AFCON qualifiers campaign very soon.
The 20-year-old made coach Otto Addo's squad and arrived on Sunday evening hoping to replicate his form at club level in the national team.
He trained alongside his teammates and will be moving to Kumasi by the close of today and had this to tell the media after their shake up;
"We're going to approach the game with full energy. The support has always been there and we are looking forward to winning all our matches."
Fatawu, joined Leicester City on a permanent deal this summer after impressing at the club last season on loan from Portuguese Primera Liga team Sporting CP.
He marked his Premier League debut weeks ago with a sumptuous assist to help Leicester City come from behind to salvage a 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur and is looking forward to delivering more going forward.
He was recently linked strongly with a move to Saudi Arabian champions Al Hilal and are willing to offer the player a €10 million per season salary.
The Black Stars will host Angola this Thursday, September 5 in Kumasi, before they face Niger in their second in four days time.
