Ghana and LA Galaxy attacker, Joseph Paintsil has suffered a fresh injury which looks somehow serious and could sideline him for almost two months ahead of the 2025 Major League Soccer season.
The 27-year-old joined the Galaticos last year from Belgian side KRC Genk for a fee of $10 million and really enjoyed a great debut campaign.
Paintsil, played a vital role in LA Galaxy's MLS success last year having tallied 14 goals and provided 8 assists in 34 matches in both the regular season and the playoffs.
The mercurial winger per reports has sustained a quad injury which will see him miss the early stages of the new campaign as he is expected to spend almost 6-8 weeks on sidelines.
He will definitely focus on his recovery as he looks to return as quick as possible to help in their title defense when they host San Diego FC in their opening game of the new season on February 23.
Joseph Paintsil due to this recent injury will be a huge doubt ahead of Ghana's matchday five and six fixtures against Chad and Madagascar in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
