The Black Stars will host Chad in match-day five of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers on March 17, 2025, at the Ohene Gyan Stadium, the GFA has confirmed.

The four-time African champions will be returning to the capital for the first time in over three years with their last game here being a 3-1 win over Sao Tome and Principe in an AFCON qualifier.

Ghana within this period honoured their home matches at the Cape Coast Stadium before subsequently moving to the Baba Yara Stadium - where they have been playing for over two years.

The game is a very crucial one for coach Otto Addo and his men as they look to win to seek redemption and also boost their chances of qualifying for the next Mundial.

Ghana currently occupy the second position on the table with 9 points, having won three and lost one in the qualifiers series.

The Black Stars after this game, will travel to Antananarivo to play Madagascar to wrap up next month's international window.
