Mohammed Kudus will be absent from the Ghanaian squad in tonight's 2026 World Cup qualifying match against Comoros.

Ghana is set to face Comoros in their second 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier later today.

Before the match, Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus sustained an injury during training, ruling him out of the game.

The forward from West Ham United had started for Ghana in the previous match against Madagascar, securing a 1-0 victory at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the first game of the World Cup qualifiers.

If Kudus is unavailable for the Comoros match on Tuesday, Ernest Nuamah might be considered for a spot in the starting eleven.

Ghana's away fixture against Comoros is slated to commence at 4 pm at the Moroni Stadium. A victory for the Black Stars would propel Ghana to the top of the Group I standings in the qualifiers.
