Black Stars coach Otto Addo has announced his 23-man squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar next week.

Deputy skipper Thomas Partey has returned to the squad for the first time since September last year following his consistent impressive performance for Arsenal. Kamaldeen Sulemana is also back in the list. 

Three home-based players made the cut namely; Hearts of Oak goalkeeper and captain Benjamin Asare, Kamaradini Mamudu of Medeama SC and Nations FC skipper Razak Simpson. 

KRC Genk's mercurial winger Christopher Bonsu Baah also gets his debut call-up and will look forward to establishing himself as a mainstay.

Regular figures like Kudus Mohammed, Jordan Ayew, Antoine Semenyo, Inaki Williams, Alexander Djiku, Mohammed Salisu, all were included. 

The four-time African champions are currently sitting in second place in Group I with 9 points, having won three and lost one after four matches.

The Black Stars will pitch camp on Monday, March 17, where they hold four training sessions before they take on Chad on March 21.

They will travel Al Hoceima in Morocco to play Madagascar in match-day six on March 24.
