Ghana League Clubs Association Chairman, John Ansah has announced the Accra Sports Stadium as the new venue for the upcoming Top 4 tournament
Initially, the iconic Baba Yara Stadium initially was picked as the venue for the upcoming competition but has been changed now due to the current poor state of the facility
The GHALCA top four tournament is an off-season competition organized for the best performing clubs in the previous campaign to test their strength for the upcoming season
This year’s edition will be competed by champions Bibiani GoldStars, Heart of Lions and the two giants; Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko
In a recent interview with GHONE TV, John Ansah, said the date for the commencement of the competition is still unchanged but the competition will now be held in the capital
“We’re playing in Accra and the date stands the same, we will be doing the needful where we have to launch the program, but as it stands, Accra Sports Stadium is where we’re playing.”
The 2025 GHALCA Top 4 tournament will be held from August 20-24, 2025.
