Asante Kotoko CEO, Nana Yaw Amponsah has highlighted on the reasons why they opted for containers for their projects and not block buildings, stating the land of Adako Jachie won't be suitable for that.

The Porcupine Warriors have their training grounds in the said place inside the Ejisu Municipal, and will hope to establish their club house and other facilities at the same place.

Nana Yaw Amponsah chose to set up the project with containers instead of the usual blocks but came under huge scrutiny by lots in the country.
 
However, in the just ended 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, most of the stadia were established with same containers, notably 'Stadium 974' which was reportedly put up with 974 containers.
 
Now, the former GFA Presidential aspirant speaking during the NCC Congress in Takoradi, explained the reasons for that and added they were heavily criticized for using containers but people are very mute after seeing Qatar replicated same idea for the Mundial. 
 
“People were criticizing us for building container structure, when you went to Qatar didn’t you see stadiums built with containers.? Or because it was a white man it’s fine but for your fellow blackman is not."
 
“If I tell you the structural thinking that went into the container you will be shocked, because the Adako Jachie land when you put up a building it will sink. Before we act we think deeply into it and we do a lot of stakeholders engagement to get the best interest of the club." He landed 
 
Asante Kotoko regrouped weeks ago after the short break and will face Berekum Chelsea on Sunday in match-week 9 of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League.
