Today, on Friday, March 24, Coach Ibrahim Tanko has selected a strong starting lineup for Ghana's CAF U23 qualifier match against Algeria at the 19 May 1956 Stadium in Annaba.
Unfortunately, due to a suspension, team captain Afriyie Barnieh will be unable to participate in Friday's match. However, he will be eligible to play in the return match scheduled for Tuesday in Kumasi.
Ernest Appiah Nuamah will be making his debut for the Black Meteors, while Coach Tanko has granted starting roles to former U20 players Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Zubairu Ibrahim, and Samuel Abbey Ashie-Quaye.
