Nsoatreman FC Head Coach, Maxwell Konadu, is advocating for the inclusion of Ghana Premier League footballers in the Black Stars.

Konadu believes this move will enhance the growth of the league and provide valuable exposure for players in the top-flight.

Speaking in an interview with Onua FM, the former Black Stars assistant coach under Kwasi Appiah emphasized the importance of this initiative.

“I think the Ghana Football Association should allocate slots for our local players in the senior national team, the Black Stars, to enhance the performance of the Ghana Premier League,” Konadu stated.

Head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo, is expected to announce his squad for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Mali and the Central African Republic (CAR) next month.

Ghana will face Mali in Bamako on June 6 and host CAR on June 10.
