The Ghana senior men national team are expected to return to camp next week as preparations begin for the upcoming international window where they will take on Austria and Germany in pre-World Cup friendly matches.
The team last assembled in November during the Kirin Cup in Asia, where they faced Japan and South Korea to wrap up what was a very impressive and improved campaign last year.
Head coach Otto Addo is expected to announce his squad for the two high-profile friendlies before the close of the week, with several regular members of the team widely tipped to make the list.
Captain Jordan Ayew, Thomas Partey, Christopher Bonsu Baah, Kwasi Sibo, Alexander Djiku, goalkeeper Benjamin Asare, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and in-form attacker Antoine Semenyo are all expected to be included.
However, Mohammed Kudus is unlikely to feature after suffering a hamstring injury that is expected to keep him sidelined for the upcoming matches.
Meanwhile, veteran forward Andre Ayew, who recently returned to club football with NAC Breda, is not expected to be part of the squad as he continues his long absence from the national team, having not featured for nearly two years.
The Black Stars will face Austria on March 27 at the Ernst Happel Stadium, before taking on Germany three days later on March 30 at the MHPArena.
The team will also play additional friendlies against Mexico and Wales as part of their preparations ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
