Ghana Football Association President, Kurt Okraku has heaped praises on Annor Walker for vindicating them after Black Galaxies qualified for the Championship of African Nations (CHAN).

Ghana edged out Nigeria on penalties at the Mashood Abiola to qualify for CHAN, after playing 2:2 on aggregate in two legs.

Ghana will be at the CHAN in January next year in Algeria after missing the last three editions of the tournament.

The Ghana Football Association received some backlash for appointing the former Great Olympics gaffer Annor Walker as the head coach.

Kurt Okraku believes that the GFA has been vindicated.

"I want to thank Coach Annor Walker for this achievement,” he said.

“I remember the day we gave him this job I promised him that he has the confidence of the FA. Today he and his assistants have vindicated us for the confidence we had in them," he insisted.
