Young Ghanaian sensation, Felix Afena-Gyan was adjudged the Most Promising Star at the 2022 Calcio Trade Ball event which took place at the Kempinski Hotel in the capital, Accra.
The Calcio Trade Ball is a football occasion and seminar organised by the ArthurLegacy Sports to honour the relationship between Ghana and Italy mainly in terms of football, trade and culture.
The theme for the 2022 edition was 'Stop Player Exploitation, Save Football.'
An unofficial football game was organised to mark this year's seminar last Friday between Ghana XI and All Stars XI at the Accra Sports Stadium- a clash which ended 3-2 for the Ghanaians.
The superstardom of the 19 year old was noticed after he made a sensational switch from EurAfrica FC to Italian giants AS Roma after he was pictured in an Inter-School competition.
He made a massive progression from playing in the Primavera to the Serie A and subsequently formed part of the AS Roma side that won the maiden UEFA Conference League and also secured qualification for the Black Stars to the 2022 World Cup.
