Asante Kotoko have finalized deal with Rivers United to play each other in a preseason friendly game in Turkey later this month.
The Communications and Brands Manager of the club signed on behalf of the club in a short meeting with their counterparts in Nigeria.
Asante Kotoko are winners of the Ghana Premier League 2021/22 season and will be representing the country in the CAF Champions whereas Rivers United defied all odds to annex the Nigeria Premier for the 2021/22 season.
Both clubs are planning to reinvigorate themselves to usher in the 2022/23 season with a tour in Turkey and will, therefore, play a friendly game to test their mettle before the season proper.
Asante Kotoko will leave the shores of Ghana to Turkey on the 15th of August, 2022 till 30th August, 2022.
