Asante Kotoko is gearing up for an exciting European tour as part of their prelude to the 2024/25 football season.
The Porcupine Warriors are scheduled to embark on a two-week preseason training tour, making stops in Switzerland, France, Italy, and Germany.
The primary objectives of the tour include capturing the attention of European supporters, engaging potential sponsors, and providing opportunities for scouting talents.
The team's journey will commence as they depart from Ghana for Italy on the 15th of July 2023 for a series of activities, including a friendly match against Serie A side Genoa on the 19th of July 2024, followed by another match against Atalanta three days later.
Further fixtures await as Kotoko then moves on to Germany, France and Switzerland, with specific details yet to be confirmed pending discussions with the respective clubs.
Upon the conclusion of the tour, the Porcupine Warriors are expected to return to Ghana on the 31st of July 2023.
This upcoming tour continues the club's tradition of traveling abroad for preseason preparations, having previously visited Germany, Serbia, and the United Arab Emirates and Sudan.
