All roads lead to the Baba Yara Stadium on Thursday, June 23, 2022 for the grand finally of the 2022 Ashanti Regional Division Two Promotional tournament between Asekem FC and Pro Players Academy
The winner of this tie will be crowned champions of the region and also secure qualification into the national first division league in the 2022/23 season.
The Beposo Warriors will be making their second consecutive final appearance and will definitely play their hearts out this time to secure the prestigious spot having lost it to Future Stars in the last edition.
However, the 'Goals Nkoaa' outfit after failing to make it to the final last year, managed to exceed their last year's performance and will also look to keep their perfect run in the competition intact.
Asekem FC finished as winners of Group A with 7 points, having drawn one against First Klass FC and picked two victories over Ebony FC and Benab FC.
They have scored six goals and conceded two en route to the final though their leading forward Isaac Frimpong could boast of only a goal so far in the competition which came from the spot.
On the opposition end, Pro Players Academy stands up as the only team with victories in all the three matches played, having finished as Group B conquerors with 9 points.
They also banged in five goals and conceded one on their road to final thanks to their forward Antwi Kwadwo who has netted two goals so far in the competition.
Head To Head
This will be the third meeting between the two sides having already met twice with a win going to any of the teams.
