The final group games of the Ashanti Region NQuad Inter Tribes competition produced some exciting results. Hausa, Songhai, and Waala secured wins to advance to the next stage, while Fante, Gurunshie/Sissala, and Yoruba got eliminated.
The 16 teams who made it to the knockout phase have finally been determined after solid 36 games.
Group A
Frafra topped the group with a 2-0 win over Kanjaga.
Songhai thrashed Yoruba 4-1 to advance as one of the best third-placed teams.
Group B
Banda's journey ended with a 1-1 draw against Ewe.
Dagomba and Gurma's 0-0 draw saw both teams advance.
Group C
Wangara edged Zabarma 3-2 in a thrilling encounter, with both teams advancing.
Hausa won 2-0 against Buzaaye to top the group.
Group D
Kotokoli won 1-0 against Mamprushi to top the group.
Waala's 2-0 victory over Moshie ensured their advancement.
Group E
Gonja and Fulani's 0-0 draw saw both teams advance.
Fante and YadeGawaa's 0-0 draw ended their tournament.
Group F
Chokosi won 1-0 against Bissa to top the group.
Ashanti and Gurunshie/Sissala's 1-1 draw ended Gurunshie/Sissala's participation.
