Former Black Stars shot-stopper, Anthony Osei Kwadwo says Ati-Zigi shouldn't be called-up to the national team and insists that Danlad Ibrahim and other goalkeepers in Ghana are better than him.

Ati-Zigi has been with the Black Stars since 2017 but has failed to command a place in the post. He continues to disappoint any time he's given the opportunity but have been a mainstay in the list of twenty-three players of different coaches at the Black Stars.

He's thirty-eight call-ups to his name but managed to keep the post on only eight occasions with a clean sheet.

Connoisseurs and supporters have constantly questioned his place in the Ghanaian national team.

Ghana have qualified for the World Cup in Qatar and will lock horns with Uruguay, South Korea and Portugal in the group stage.

The Ghana Football Association have confirmed that Ghana will play Switzerland in a pre-tournament friendly in Dubai.

Osei Kwadwo insists that Ati-Zigi shouldn't be called-up to the Black Stars.

"Ati-Zigi must be sacked, let me explain," he told Dan Kwaku Yeboah TV.

"Look at the years he has been with the national team and where has he gotten to? This is the right time for him to be our number one, but look at his performance, yet they always invite him."

"we have local goalkeepers like Danlad who can perform better than him," he insisted.
