The Black Galaxies have arrived in Algiers for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament after training in Egypt where they beat the U-20 national team of Egypt 2-0 before nailing Al Ahly 3-1 in their second International friendly.
In a communiqué from the Ghana Football Association (GFA), a delegation made up of twenty-three players, technical staff and management officials made the trip from Cairo to Algeria.
Officials of the Algerian Local Organising Committee met the Ghanaian delegation on arrival at the Algiers airport as well as staff of Ghana’s Embassy in Algeria.
The home-based national team will begin camping on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 in Algiers.
The Black Galaxies are expected to play two friendly games in Algeria before their opening Group C clash against Madagascar on January 15th in Constantine, before going ahead to play Morocco and Sudan.
