The Black Princesses have returned to Ghana following their early exit from the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.
The team, including players, technical staff, and management members, arrived in Accra on Tuesday.
Six players—Jenna Sapong, Helen Alormenu, Alexandra Emefa Tay, Salamatu Abdulai, Tracey Twum, and Asana Alhassan—have moved on to rejoin their respective clubs directly from Colombia.
Ghana's campaign ended in disappointment as they failed to advance beyond the group stages for the seventh consecutive time.
The Black Princesses secured only one win in Group E, having lost their opening match to debutants Austria and suffered a heavy defeat against Japan in their second game.
Despite a 3-1 victory over New Zealand in their final group fixture, it was insufficient to propel Ghana into the knockout stages.
