Black Queens head coach, Kim Lars Björkegren has named a 22- player squad for the team’s June camping programme during the FIFA international window as preparations intensify for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
This camp is expected to form a key part of the technical team’s long-term build-up toward the continental tournament.
The Black Queens is expected engage in a couple of international friendly matches during this camping period.
Coach Kim’s squad includes a blend of experienced players and emerging talents as the technical team continues to assess and improve team chemistry, and also strengthen the squad.
The June camping programme also follows ongoing efforts by the Ghana Football Association to ensure the Black Queens remain active and competitive ahead of WAFCON 2026.
Players are expected to report to camp in the coming days for this international assignments during the FIFA women’s window.
