The Black Satellites of Ghana have touched down safely in France for a three-week training tour as preparations for the upcoming 2024 WAFU Zone B U-20 Cup of Nations.

The contingents that made the trip consist of 22 players, technical members and officials, and they arrived in France last Thursday evening where they will spend weeks and play some friendlies before they wrap up their tour in Belgium.

The team will take on Belgian outfit KV Mechelen on Tuesday July 2, 2024 at the K. Rumstse SK, Doelhaagstraat, 70, Tourcoing, Nord before facing Royal Antwerp U23 side on Sunday July 19, 2024 at the Oude Bosuilbaan 54a, 2100, Antwerp.

The Satellites' regular training sessions will be held at the Rue de l'Union à 70, Tourcoing, Stadium, Nord.

The last time the 2009 world champions were together was in March this year when they achieved the 'host and win' by beating Uganda to clinch gold in the 13th African Games which was held in Accra, Ghana.

Coach Desmond Offei whiles they engage in series of training sessions and high profile friendly matches, will take the opportunity to access the performance all the players and to also patch up all cracks in the team before they return.

The main motive behind this almost a month European tour, is to have the team adequately prepared and ready for the 2024 WAFU Zone B U-20 Championship which comes off in months time.
