Kurt Okraku has been re-elected as the president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for a second term.
Mr. Okraku ran unopposed at the 2023 Elective Congress, which took place at the Global Dream Hotel in Tamale.
George Afriyie, who was initially set to challenge Mr. Okraku, was disqualified by the Elections Committee of the country's football governing body.
Out of the 119 delegates present at the Congress, 117 of them voted in favor of retaining Kurt Okraku as the president. However, two delegates voted against his re-election, and one delegate abstained.
The election for the Executive Council members of the Ghana Football Association is currently ongoing.
