The 'Still Believe' lads after winning the first leg 1-2 in Bamako, sailed through to the semis with a 3-2 on aggregate win after playing out a 1-1 stalemate in the second leg over the weekend at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Yoro Diaby opened the scoring account for the Malian giants before Simba Sylvester levelled things up later to earn a draw.
Reacting to the qualification, the experienced gaffer has expressed excitement after the qualification and added people will start taking them serious at the moment.
He added by saying they are targeting the ultimate from now henceforth.
"We will not let the qualification put us down, we are going to prepare," Zito affirmed in the wake of the win. "I think people will take us seriously now, but we are going for the ultimate."
Dreams FC will face giants Zamalek SC in the semi-final of the competition.
