There has been issues of interference, manipulation and dictatorship with regards to the Black Stars call ups offlate, with many accusing some GFA officials for that and is mostly done to coaches who are seen as unfit and of no any pedigree.
However, Chris Hughton made his first squad announcement for the double header against Angola and many a football faithful were really impressed with the squad and described it as one with no any manipulation.
In an interview on Citi FM in Accra, the ex- Wa All Stars CEO believes Ghana is having a top class manager at the moment who won't allow himself to be manipulated in anyway and that shows how good, commanding he is and can lead the team to success.
“Hughton is the man who cannot be manipulated; he is good. I think that he is the one who will stick to his guns and not allow himself to be manipulated. That makes him a good coach, coupled with his experience in the English premier league.”
“It (the Black Stars) is a young team and the possibility to lead this team to success is glaring.”
