Newly-appointed Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton has finally touched down Ghana for his official launch next week and has been spotted at Christian Atsu's funeral which is currently ongoing at the Forecourt of the State House in Accra.

The 64 year old after being around the senior national team for sometime now was finally appointed to lead last month to replace out-gone Otto Addo- who left after the 2022 World Cup.

Chris Hughton's unveiling should have been done by now but had to be rescheduled due to the death of his father who was laid to rest in the UK few days ago.
 
He has announced his 25 man squad who will regroup very soon to begin preparations towards the 2023 AFCON qualifier against Angola later this month.
 
The former Newcastle United and Brighton manager has sorted all family emergency and will land at the Kotoka International Airport by the close of tomorrow and will head to Kumasi for his official unveiling on Monday, March 20.
 
Ghana will welcome the Black Antelopes on March 23, for the first leg in Kumasi with the return encounter set for four days time in Luanda.
