Ghana coach Chris Hughton commended Inaki Williams for his performance, particularly the crucial goal that secured the Black Stars' 1-0 victory over Madagascar in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Hughton praised Williams as a versatile player with the ability to excel in various positions, emphasizing his primary strength as a center forward.

"Iñaki is a good professional. If I tell him to play in central midfield or right back, he will play there. But he is a number nine. That is his main strength," he said.

Despite a challenging first half, the Black Stars demonstrated resilience, and Hughton acknowledged Williams' significant contribution to the team's success.

Ghana is now gearing up for their second Group I game against Comoros on Tuesday, November 21, at the Stade de Moroni.
