Black Stars head coach, Chris Hughton after the defeat against Mexico, has quickly shifted his attention to the game against USA next week, hoping for an improved performance this time around.
The Tricolors continued with their dominant invincibility on Ghana after inflicting yet another 2-0 loss on them at midnight at the Bank of America Stadium in an international friendly in Charlotte.
On-loan SSC Napoli winger Hirvin Lozano opened the scoring account on the 57th minute before substitute Uriel Antuna scored again fifteen minutes later to seal the victory.
Speaking after the game, the ex- Brighton manager after suffering his first loss since taking over the Black Stars, has stated he will like to see an upgrade of what he saw in the game and hopes to secure a better results against the Yanks in their next fixture.
"It is exactly the same message for the players. What we don’t want is to leave this international camp with two poor results," Hughton told the press
"The result of that is always you are looking for reaction from the team in the second game [USA].
"If you are able to get the right reaction, which I am quite sure that we will get from the team, then it gives you a better possibility of putting in a performance that can get something out of the game in the second game [USA]", he concluded
Ghana will face USA in the next round of matches on Wednesday, October 18, at the Geodis Park in Nashville.
