President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku has reported seasoned football administrator Winfred Kwaku Osei Palmer to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service over death threat.
The owner of Tema Youth FC was invited to the CID headquarters in Accra on Monday, 28th August, 2023 for an alleged death threat against the leader of the country's football governing body.
Kurt Okraku, who has already submitted his nomination to seek re-election in the upcoming 2023 Ghana FA presidential election, filed a complaint at the CID headquarters last week following an alleged plot by ‘some goons’ to take his life.
A detailed narration by Atta Poku of Sompa FM revealed that Osei Kwaku Palmer —owner of Tema Youth FC — was fingered in the alleged death threats.
