Black Galaxies of Ghana head coach, Annor Walker has announced his final 25-man squad list for the 2023 CHAN qualifiers against Benin next weekend.

Few week ago, over forty (40) players were handed an invitation to the Black Galaxies camp to begin preparations for the double-header qualifier against Benin later this month.

 
Coach Annor Walker and his technical team have finally trimmed the squad list to twenty-five for the two-legged fixture against the local squirrels of Benin next weekend.
 
Notable names in the final list includes Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Ibrahim Imoro and Jonah Attuquaye.
 
Also, Hearts of Oak attacking midfielder Gladson Awako has been named as the skipper of the team alongside Vincent Atingah and Imoro Ibrahim as his deputies.
 
Ghana will battle out with Benin in the first leg of the qualification round on 24th July, 2022 before traveling to Cotonou on July 31 for the reverse leg tie.
 
Should, the Black Galaxies defeat Benin in the two-legged fixture, they will face Nigeria in the final qualification round where the winner will secure a ticket to the 2023 CHAN slated for next year in Algeria.
