In anticipation of the crucial third-round Olympic Games qualifiers against Zambia, Black Queens coach Nora Häuptle has revealed the squad tasked with representing Ghana in the upcoming showdown.

A notable inclusion in the lineup is Charlton Athletic's Freda Ayisi, adding a significant presence and sparking excitement within the Black Queens' roster.

 

As the stage is set for an exhilarating showdown, Ghana prepares to host Zambia in the first leg at the iconic Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, February 23, followed by an equally thrilling return clash in Ndola on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

 

In the absence of injured goalkeeper Cynthia Konlan Findiib, goalkeeper Victoria Antwi Adjei returns to the squad.

Additionally, Comfort Yeboah of Ampem Darkoa Ladies, Kerrie McCarthy of Kumasi Sports Academy, and Fidaus Yakubu of Hasaacas Ladies have all received call-ups for the two games.

Furthermore, AS FAR Rabat’s Maafia Nyame earns her first call-up to the squad.

The squad will commence camping in Accra on Sunday, February 18, 2024, in preparation for the upcoming qualifiers.
