Asante Kotoko head coach Seydou Zerbo has announced a 21-man traveling squad list for the first leg tie of the 2022/23 CAF Champions League preliminary round.
The Porcupine Warriors have made a trip to Benin to battle out with RC Kadiogo of Burkina Faso in the first preliminary round of the competition.
The fixture which was initially scheduled to be played in Ivory Coast at the Stade Yamoussoukro has now been moved to the General Mathieu Kérékou Friendship Stadium in Cotonou, Benin.
According to CAF, the game will now be played on Monday, 12th September, 2022.
The Ghanaian champions left the shores of Ghana on Friday morning with a contingent comprising of three goalkeepers, seven defenders, five midfielders and six forwards. Management and technical team members are included as well.
The club's last season top-scorer Frank Mbella, Thomas Pele, Eric Zeze, Stephen Amankona, Augustine Agyapong and Rocky Dwamena are not part of the travelling squad to Benin to face RC Kadiogo.
