The 2024 edition of the Inter-Tribe Football Galah has reached the semifinal stage, with two thrilling matches scheduled for Monday and Tuesday.
Two debutants; Waala and Builsa, have made it to the last four, aiming to make history by lifting the ultimate trophy.
Fulani vs Builsa
Fulani, who eliminated defending champions Moshie in the quarterfinal, will face Builsa on Monday.
Fulani are on an unbeaten run so far in the competition, having overcome Moshie and Chokosi in the knockout stage.
Builsa, who defeated Wangara in the round of 16 and Kotokoli in the quarterfinal, hope to emulate Songhai's feat in the second edition by becoming the second debutants to reach the grand finale.
Waala vs Zabarma
Waala, another debutants, will face Zabarma on Tuesday. After an initial defeat to Kotokoli, Waala have become the team to beat, overcoming Gonja and Hausa in the knockout phase to cruise into the last four.
Zabarma, brimming with so much confidence, have scored the most goals in the competition so far (9 in 5 matches). They defeated Frafra in the round of sixteen and Dagomba in round eight.
