Hohoe United established a three-point gap at the top of the table in Zone Three after coming from a goal down to defeat Golden Kick SC 3-1 in a fascinating encounter at the Tuba Astro Turf.

Ismael Eshun scored first for Golden Kick in the 15th minute, but Sena Ati quickly brought Hohoe United back into the game with a lovely goal, followed by Roland Grippman's own goal three minutes later.

Francis Odoom sealed the victory for Hohoe United in the 30th minute. They lead the table with 54 points from 24 matches.

Elsewhere former Premier League side Okwawu United kept their slim hopes of qualifying for the Premier League with a gutsy goalless draw away to fourth-placed Accra Great Olympics on Sunday.

Kwadwo Asamoah scored twice in the 5th and 45th minutes, while Ben Ghartey made it 3-0 in the 83rd minute for Port City FC.

Port City FC have secured 51 points from 24 matches and are three points behind leaders Hohoe United.
