Medeama midfield general Kwesi Donsu hopes the club will come back to glory times as they seek to better their stand on the league log.

Medeama SC influential midfielder Kwesi Donsu has revealed that the club is not happy with their position on the league log and will work hard to improve in the next round.

The Mauves are lying 9th on the log and Donsu believes its not conving for them,'Our position is unimpressive,we are competing in Africa and it does not befit us.'

The Medeama anchorman admitted their African campaign affected them in the performance they put up in the first round but was adamant it will not take all the blame,'At the start,we had much of our focus on the Confederations cup,we wanted to reach the group stages and we achieved that,now we are turning our attention back into the league.'he revealed.

The midfield orchestra reveals the team is preparing well ahead of the second round of the league and also played down nervousness in their group of the Confederations cup.

'We are training and working hard,we will be much better in the second round, our group? we don't fear any team we showed that against Mamelodi Sundowns when all the odds were against us.

The former Berekum Arsenals enforcer says he is open to all national teams he qualifies claiming it has been his dream to honour his country.
