Dreams FC, in recognition of their extraordinary journey in the CAF Confederation Cup, hosted a team dinner at the AH Hotel in East Legon, Accra on Tuesday.
The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Kurt Okraku, the President of the Ghana Football Association.
The dinner provided a moment for Dreams FC to reflect on and celebrate their achievements, having surpassed expectations by reaching the semi-finals of the continental competition in their debut appearance. Despite their campaign concluding with a 3-0 loss to Egyptian giants Zamalek in the semi-final match last Sunday, Dreams FC's accomplishment is praiseworthy. It marks the first time in two decades that a Ghanaian team has advanced to the semi-finals of the tournament, bringing pride not only to the club but also to Ghanaian football as a whole.
As they look forward, Dreams FC still harbors hopes of returning to the competition. Their upcoming match against Soccer Intellectuals on Thursday holds significant importance, offering them the opportunity to secure a spot in the semi-finals of the prestigious FA Cup.
