Dreams FC's attacking midfielder, Sylvester Simba, is eyeing victory in the FA Cup competition as a pathway to securing an African slot for his team.
Despite a setback in their Confederation Cup campaign, where they reached the semifinals in their debut appearance but fell short against Zamalek, Simba remains optimistic about their continental aspirations.
Reflecting on their journey, Simba acknowledged the disappointment of their recent defeat but emphasized their determination to bounce back. Looking ahead, he outlined their strategy, affirming their intent to clinch the FA Cup title for the second consecutive time.
Simba expressed confidence in their ability to overcome challenges, citing their enhanced experience.
“Now, we have experience so once we win the FA Cup and represent Ghana in the Confederation Cup it will be easy for us” he said.
With their sights set on representing Ghana in the Confederation Cup once more, Simba believes that triumphing in the FA Cup will pave the way for their return to continental competition.
“We will go back and focus on the FA Cup. We will make sure we eliminate Soccer Intellectuals to reach the semifinals and make sure we win the FA Cup so that we can go to Africa again”
