Dreams FC's Abdul Aziz Issah has stated he idolizes football great Lionel Messi and is hoping to play football to the higher echelon.
The 18-year-old has been sensational for the Still Believers since joining the first team in 2022 and the ongoing season is of no exception. He currently has twelve-goal involvements this season in all competitions.
He's scored six and provided one assist in the Premier League and has three goals, two assists in the CAF Confederations Cup.
The mercurial playmaker has stated Lionel Messi is the one he looks up to and has watched series of his videos as he aspires to play football to the highest level in future.
"My idol is Lionel Messi, and in my spare time, I'm constantly watching videos of Messi. Like Mohammed Kudus and other elite players, my goal is to compete at the highest level in football."
Abdul Aziz Issah will hope to make the starting line up once again when they face Nigerian side Rivers United in their final group game on Sunday March 3, 2024.
