The 31-year-old revealed that the management of the Bekwai based club are not ready to pay for his surgery.

"I got injury at our training grounds ahead of our game with Kotoko and a guy was sent to nurse my injury, but management are not ready to pay the amount he demanded ," Boadu told Obuasi-based radio station Time FM

"The guy resquested Gh¢ 300, and i have tried several times to call the officials of the club but they never pick them up"

"So, I have left our camp base to my hometown [Mamponteng]. It is sometimes sad when our clubs meted out this treatment to us in this way," he added.

The former Medeama enforcer is set to miss the rest of the season.

New Edubiase United are currently in the drop zone with 8 games to end the Ghana Premier League.
