Asante Kotoko head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has expressed his excitement over the signing of striker Sampson Eduku, praising the player’s goal-scoring prowess and versatility.
Eduku, who joins the Porcupine Warriors on a one-and-a-half-year contract, had an impressive spell at Tamale City during the 2022/23 season, where he scored 14 goals and provided four assists.
Ogum is confident Eduku will make a strong impact at Kotoko, stating, "Sampson is a proven goal scorer with great versatility and experience. His ability to score and create chances will add a new dimension to our attack. We are thrilled to have him with us and believe he will contribute immediately."
As Kotoko aims for the Ghana Premier League title, Eduku’s addition is seen as a key boost to the team’s attacking options. His experience and goal-scoring ability are expected to play a crucial role in the club’s push for success this season.
The former Samartex and Tamale City player shared his enthusiasm about joining Kotoko and is eager to contribute to the team’s objectives.
