Ghana's all time top scorer, Asamoah Gyan was present at the Ohene Gyan Stadium earlier today to watch the Black Meteors train ahead of their all important matches against Algeria in the 2023 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations qualifiers 

The Black Stars feeder team got a walkover in the first qualifying round of Africa U-23 Championship before edging out the Junior Mambas of Mozambique to reach the final hurdle.

The team trained with thirty players today in the capital. Several foreign-based players have also joined the squad to strengthen the team for the two-legged tie.
 
The team comprises of Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Zubairu Ibrahim, Salim Adams, Alex Sarfo, Emmanuel Essiam, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, and Emmanuel Yeboah, among others.
 
The former Black Stars captain was present and was pictured having a conversation with the technical team comprising of head coach Ibrahim Tanko, assistant Michael Osei and Godwin Attram- all former Black Stars players.
 
The team is now in camp, preparing to depart for Algeria, where they will play the first leg match on Friday, March 24, in Annaba. The return encounter is scheduled to take place at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Tuesday, March 28.
