Former Black Stars skipper, Stephen 'Tornado' Appiah has exhibited a great kind gesture by donating to the sufferers of the recent flood in the Volta Region. 

The inundation was caused by spillage of water from the Akosombo and Kpong Dam and ended up with series of effects with over 8,000 people misplaced in the South-Eastern part of Ghana.

With this, lots of organizations and dignitries have made some donations to the people affected by the flood as a token to put a smile on their faces after the unfortunate incident.

The latest to join in offering a helping hand is former Ghana captain Stephen Appiah, who combined with Wembley Constructions to donate hugely to the victims.

He presented items like food stuffs, mattresses and others and was received on behalf of the people by member of parliament for North Tongu Constituency, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.

The former Deputy Minister for Education after the donation took to Facebook to express a profound gratitude to the former Juventus star and added the people will never forget this kind gesture.
