Asante Kotoko elite forward, Franck Etouga Mbella is on the verge of joining Egyptian topflight outfit Al Masry, Kickgh.com can exclusively report.
The 20 year old joined the Porcupine Warriors prior to the commencement of last season and really had an amazing campaign in the Ghanaian topflight.
He finished as the league's second top scorer with massive 21 goals, an impressive performance which greatly propelled the Porcupine Warriors to their 24th league glory.
His stellar display saw him attracted many offers in the last transfer window, including a link to Italian Serie A side Udinese Calcio but the deal couldn't go through.
However, the latest speculations is that, the lanky forward has reached an advance negotiations with Al Masry in Egypt and a deal is most likely to be sealed in the coming weeks.
The Cameroon U20 star is currently in Kumasi and even started preseason with the Reds but couldn't make their Sudan preseason tour and also the trip to Benin due to injury.
The two African champions narrowly edged out Burkina Faso giants RC Kadiogo by 0-1 earlier today at the General Kerekou Stadium in Cotonou.
